What is the recovery process like after spinal surgery Aziz Ahmad Spinal Surgeon?

Recovery after spinal surgery varies depending on the procedure. Each patient is reviewed by Ahmad and his team of physiotherapist and ward nurses to optimise pain management and rehabilitation. Once patient is deemed safe they are discharged home with advice and a number to contact back if there is an issue. Patient can be discharged from same day to up to 2 days depending on their recovery. Wound are assessed back in clinic in 2 weeks by a senior nurse and each patient are reviewed personally by Mr Ahmad in outpatient follow up clinic in 6 to 8 weeks.
